Current Work

Founder-led consulting and operating products.

Fuad leads Tokenizer's consulting work directly. Engagements typically focus on architecture review, search and indexing systems, cloud and data platforms, codebase quality, and AI workflow design.

The products and educational sites under Tokenizer are part of that same operating model: build, measure, refine, and keep the work usable over time.

Background

Math, systems, and teaching.

Fuad holds an MSc in Mathematics from Moscow State University and began his career teaching quantitative subjects. He later moved into banking and fintech systems, working across capital-markets data, risk integration, regulatory reporting, search infrastructure, and large-scale engineering delivery.

  • Search and relevance work including Apache Solr and Lucene
  • Event-driven systems, Kafka, data platforms, and analytics workflows
  • Software architecture, refactoring, performance, and delivery-risk analysis

Where This Connects

One founder profile, three practical routes into the work.

The founder page matters because Tokenizer's consulting, product, and publishing work are all tied to the same operating discipline.

Working Principles

Reduce complexity, keep claims honest, and leave teams with something usable.

  • First principles: understand structure before optimization or memorization.
  • Primary sources first: architecture, content, and study guidance should be traceable to reliable references.
  • Operational proof matters: real products and maintained sites are stronger evidence than positioning copy.
  • Human responsibility remains: tools can assist the work, but judgment and accountability stay human.

Domains of work

  • Search, relevance, and indexing systems
  • Cloud and data architecture
  • Software architecture and engineering quality
  • Educational product design and assessment systems
  • Finance, securities, accounting, and technical learning products

Trust and disclosures

  • Independence: Tokenizer publishes independent products and is not affiliated with or endorsed by exam providers, vendors, or standards bodies.
  • Credential clarity: Fuad is not a CFA charterholder and not a CPA.
  • Corrections: substantive corrections should be sent with sources to fuad@efendi.ca.

Where a page requires subject-specific review, Tokenizer may use appropriately credentialed reviewers while keeping final editorial responsibility explicit.
